Responsibilities

The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) secures, maintains, and expands strategic relationships within assigned list of healthcare customers/prospects. assigned to specific healthcare accounts, the SAM is responsible for achieving a sales quota and driving accelerated revenue growth within targeted accounts in the West Coast. Target account list will include strategic Integrated Delivery Networks and Group Purchasing Organizations. Ideal candidate would reside in Denver, CO / Phoenix, AZ / Las Vegas, NV / Los Angeles, CA or San Francisco, CA.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Increase sales and market share within target account list.
  • Contract negotiation, formulation, and execution.
  • Work closely with field sales and clinical team to maximize customer impact and increase sales.
  • Key contributor and influencer of Hamilton Medical sales culture.
  • Communicate and report key industry trends to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate across Hamilton Medical matrix
  • Maintain forecast accuracy and best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ability to drive strategic relationships within key Integrated Delivery Network targets.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas and receiving positive customer feedback.
  • Dynamic understanding of U.S. Healthcare landscape.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written), including strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and develop solutions.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Expert business acumen.

 

Education/Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of medical device experience required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of ventilation and respiratory sales experience required.
  • Experience working with National Group Purchasing organizations is required.
  • Relevant medical device strategic sales experience required.
  • Required vendor credentialing.
