The Maintenance Technician - Injection Molding is responsible for maintaining the daily operational performance of injection molding machines, molds, auxiliary equipment, and other manufacturing equipment as assigned. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting equipment and process support systems, managing spare parts inventory, coordinating replacement parts, and assisting with equipment installation, modification, and validation activities. This role supports production and quality objectives through rapid response to downtime, proactive maintenance, and effective cross-functional communication. As assigned, the position may also support facility and plant equipment upkeep. This role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and works closely with engineering, production, and quality teams.

- Assist with the installation, startup, and qualification of new or modified equipment and tooling.
- Monitors the hourly and daily success of injection molding equipment, in conjunction with the production and engineering teams, to ensure that quality parts are made to the required targets for output and yield.
- Performs proactive maintenance on injection molds, molding machines, and auxiliary equipment to support stable daily output.
- Monitors and maintains adequate inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumable items used for maintenance and repair activities.
- Maintains the aggregate drying system, liquid cooling system, and HVAC system(s) as trained and assigned.
- Conduct mold maintenance such as cleaning, inspection, and minor surface polishing using approved methods
- Troubleshoot and support automated equipment interfaces, including sensors, actuators, and basic I/O functionality
- Safely and efficiently operates an overhead crane for handling of molds and other components as needed. Perform mold installation and removal activities.
- Works with cross-functional team members to define equipment issues, assess production impact, and support timely resolution.
- Communicates shift pass down summarizing performance to plan, downtime events and support needs.
- Performs upkeep and repair of company assets, including the facility, production equipment, warehouse equipment, and other items as assigned.
- All other duties as assigned.
Shift hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday
