Responsibilities

Responsible for Hamilton Medical, Inc.’s clinical support and education efforts in the North American market. The Clinical Applications Specialist works under the direction of the Clinical Operations Manager to support the direct Hamilton Medical, Inc. Regional Sales Managers, HMI dealer representatives, HMI independent representatives, direct customers and clinicians. Assists in the preparation and administration of educational/CEU support tools needed for the introduction and maintenance of HMI’s product line in the clinical market. A key result of this position will be positive exposure of the Hamilton Medical Group in the world marketplace and achievement of growth and turnover goals via clinical and technical support to the customer.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Accurately represents HMI and HMI products in the marketplace.
  • Assesses the educational needs of HMI customer’s, plans for and facilitates in-service/CEU opportunities in collaboration with the Clinical Operations Manager.
  • Adheres to HMI policies, procedures, and mandatory requirements.
  • Takes initiative and requires limited or no direction for expected tasks.
  • Demonstrates efficient and effective use of resources in meeting customer expectations and performing job responsibilities.
  • Assists the Clinical Operations Manager with the production of key account seminars, presentations, and programs to promote company products, service, and technologies.
  • Serves as a resource on clinical practices to all HMI customers and personnel.
  • Provides technical / application assistance to the HMI sales and service team.
  • Attends and participates in trade shows, seminars, company sales and service meetings as required.
  • Accumulates competitive information and forwards this data to marketing to assist in sales and marketing strategies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge in the type and clinical application of equipment and services provided by HMI.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • PC computer skills required, Microsoft Professional Office preferred.
  • Must be willing to travel.
  • Must have physical and mechanical aptitude to be able to install ventilators and other HMI products.

 

Education/Experience

  • 3 years critical care experience in the field of Respiratory Care required, with 2 years of in-service education or clinical support experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, AA degree required.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist / Respiratory Care Practitioner required.
